The Story of How God is Building Harvest Niagara
In Illinois...
Meeting at a small conference room in September 1988,
eighteen men and women came together to form a different kind of church. By God's hand, Harvest Bible Chapel
in Rolling Meadows, Illinois has now grown into a healthy, functioning
Christian fellowship of over 13,000 individuals. In 2000, the church set out a
plan to establish new churches which would share the same vision, values and
beliefs. Since March 2000, God has
blessed their vision and efforts with over 75 churches world-wide.
In Oakville...
In early
2003, God placed a calling and a dream within a small group of people to see a
Harvest Bible Chapel come to the Greater Toronto Area. Through supernatural
circumstances, a core group of people passionate about planting this church was
formed and began meeting for prayer and Bible study. By the grace of God this group continued to
grow and develop and attract high quality disciples of Christ. In what can only
be described as miraculous, God arranged for Harvest Bible Chapel Oakville to
join with a local church and begin ministry on Lakeshore Road. This unprecedented union was a just the
beginning of what God would do through Harvest Oakville. Since then He has used this church to
transform many lives for His glory – today approximately 2000 people attend
weekly services to worship Christ, grow through His Word and be equipped to
reach their communities for Christ!
In
Niagara...
In 2007, a group of people from the Niagara region began attending Harvest Oakville and meeting together to pray that the Lord
would establish a church in that region with a similar heart for Christ. It was their prayer that God would build a
high impact church that
would be committed to life transformation and discipleship. After almost three years of seeking the Lord’s
guidance in this, God connected the elders of Harvest Oakville with Daryl Molyneaux, who felt the Lord's leading to partner with Harvest in establishing a church in Niagara. In February 2011 the Molyneaux family (Daryl, Ruth, Zachary and Maya) relocated to the
Niagara region to diligently seek God’s direction in establishing a
church that will see many come to know Christ and grow in Him through powerful
Bible teaching, passionate worship, persistent prayer, urgent evangelism, and authentic
personal relationships. October 2, 2011 marked the first service for Harvest Bible Chapel Niagara. From the very beginning of this process, our
prayer has been that Jesus Christ would be the central driving force
behind this church and that His Name would receive fame and glory through
Harvest Niagara!
